For my senior year I will apply for as many scholarships as I can in order to help me with my
financial aid. Also applying for s.g.a will help me in order to get accepted to a college of my
choice. My Sat test score were not all that great and for that i feel more prepared for the
test because now i know how it is set up and i feel more confident to take it again. For my
capstone idea I do not know what I will do but some ideas will eventually
pop up. I am hoping to have a great year and with the help of my teachers and friends pass and
finally graduate out of high school and into a college where I can my degree.

Reflection Paper
In the beginning of the year my writing I would say was awful. I would just write what
ever came to my mind without considering anything about the organization and amount of detail.
My papers would be of a person being a beginner at writing.
As I started to take AP English during the semester I noticed that my papers were
becoming more detailed and being chronologically set up to the way in which every idea I wrote
about had details about that idea in particular and that would be it. There would be no more
ideas jumping around and making my paper switch around.
In order to improve my writing I would read more and try to compare my writing to that .
of the books. Of course it wasn’t exact but it was a guideline for me to know how I was
improving. The essays that my teacher made us write and the way she taught us to write them was
also a way of knowing what your mistakes were .
I feel confident in my writing now. I thank my teacher for helping me in what I needed
in order to become an ascending writer in the ELA rubric. These skills will help me on my way to
college and while I am in college.

Loved & Missed Grandma
I believe that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you miss them terribly after they die. I believe in this because I lost someone who was very important to me. It all happened a long time ago, I was about eight years old. It was like every other day, all nice and quiet nothing to worry about. However it was the worst day of my life. It was the day my great-grandma passed away and yet to this day I remember exactly how it happened.
Well this day was special day for my grandma, it was mother day and as well her birthday. First thing in the morning she had went out to get some groceries like she always did every Sunday. As she went out for the groceries my cousin and I were preparing a surprise party for her, so that when she got back home by than everything would be ready. There we were getting everything ready for the party, blowing up balloons, getting the piƱata, and making her favorite cake pastel de tres leche. About 30 minutes after my grandma had left, we got a strange phone call it was one of my grandma’s friends giving us the news that my grandma had a terribly bad accident and that she was at the hospital. The car she had taken had flipped over injuring her very badly.
Soon after we got the news about my grandma, we headed out to the hospital. Once we arrived to the hospital the doctor told us that she was in a very tight situation, she was in a coma. Everyone in our family got so worried, more that the doctor won’t let us in the emergency room she was in, until after the operation was done. We were all there waiting to get some news from the doctor while my mom and aunt went to church to pray to God to safe my grandma. After the operation was done the doctor lets us in to see my grandma, she still didn’t wake up. All of a sudden she died right in front of my eyes, we right away told the doctors about my grandma so they rushed to the room and took all of us out. So worry and with no news from my grandma, and then we saw the doctor come out of the room and told my mom that it was too late, there wasn’t nothing else to do she had passed way. And burst everywhere puddles of tears were all around us.
A week after my grandma died we did a funeral lots of people showed up families and friend almost the whole town. Everyone saying their last bye to my grandma, every full of tear just waiting to come out. After we told her to the cemetery which was about forty-five minutes always form home, I didn’t think everyone from the funeral would have had came as well due to the distance but they did. Showing that my grandma wasn’t just important to our family, but to everyone that knew her.
Yet to this day I can remember exactly how my grandma passed away. Every time when it her birthday we go to visit her at the cemetery making me remembering all the good the good times we pass together. I miss her so much every time I think about her it makes me very sad wishing that she had never left us, and I know it’s not just me but every one that was part of the family and friends.
